Job Description
-
Work in Tier 2, collaborate and share information with Tier 1 (the Customer Support Department, working on the end-client's site); escalate to the client’s Technical Department for issues that cannot be resolved.

Handle technical issues related to network operations: Conduct technical investigations, respond to technical incidents, perform routine tasks, implement process improvements for solutions and quality.

Experience in operating and maintaining large-scale network systems (approximately 1,000 nodes)

Hands-on experience in hardware replacement, upgrades, and maintenance in production environments.

Solid understanding of core networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, Proxy, etc.
-
Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, Meraki, and Firepower products; at least 3 years of experience working with Cisco solutions is preferred.
-
CCNA certification is required; CCNP is a strong advantage.

Proven ability to identify, analyze, and implement solutions for network-related technical issues.
Communication & Soft Skills:
-
Japanese proficiency: Minimum JLPT N2 level; ability to communicate across listening, speaking, reading, and writing (priority given to listening, reading, and writing if not fully proficient).

Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders.
-
Strong willingness to learn and stay updated on new technologies, particularly Cisco products and solutions.
Additional Information:

Work involves responsibilities across both Layer 1 and Layer 2 support.
-
Direct interaction with end clients via ServiceNow (email, chat, and phone support) is required.
